OTP Bank Card Calendar - Gamifying Your Finances

We had a very real, quantifiable target: to increase actual card usage. To facilitate this, we created a game where users could collect badges after purchases made with their cards. Different badges rewarded day and night, basic and luxury, online and offline shopping, amongst many others. Collecting badges improved your chances of winning the main prize, a million Hungarian forints. The campaign motivated people not only to use their cards but to integrate it into their everyday lives, in every aspect.
