UX Researcher

Here at Mito we love creating clever things: full scale, end-to-end services ranging from brand strategy to digital development. At Mito Digital, we design and enhance core digital channels of enterprises, such as websites, mobile applications or kiosks - for clients from several industries all around the world. To help us deliver even more cutting edge UX/UI solutions, we’re looking for an experienced UX researcher, dedicated to one of our major clients.

What will be your tasks?

Supporting a handful of product teams, with various roles (developers, testers, business owners) included. You should help everyone get closer to the user’s perspective - that’s something both end users and colleagues will appreciate.

Help the UX/UI Designers to create the best possible experience based on your findings.

Plan research activities: based on the business goals and the product roadmap you should be able to advocate the necessary research method to the product owner(s).

Manage the user test platform, execute the planned research activities.

Summarize the results and charm everyone in the room (or call) with your smooth and interesting presentation.

What do we expect from you?

You should be comfortable working within a fast-paced and ever-changing environment and thrive on daily challenges. When we say fast, we really mean jet speed.

That you prefer working in a team since most of these projects will be taken on collectively.

Fluency in English is a must: English speaking colleagues, each day, every day.

You have at least 2 years of experience (in the field, that is).

You love what you do and look forward to challenges. Don’t worry, besides great team members we also have a neat little training system to support you in honing your skills.

Please send us a collection of your case studies that contain only your best work.

Bonus points if you:

Have worked in an agile workplace

Have experience with user testing platforms (especially test.io)

Have outstanding presentation skills (remember the part about charming everybody?)

What do we have to offer?

An A-list client and its large-scale projects. Your designs are going to be used (meaning: loved or hated) by tens of millions.

A team from which you can learn a lot.

Tickets for conferences and courses.

Of course, you’ll receive an invitation to every Mito event, be it a professional academy course, or a Mito Nite, once we can safely log out of this collective Zoom-delirium.

Sports! You can join our football team, but there’s also darts, table tennis, or if you’re more a sit-down type of athlete, then FIFA 2021 is an option, too!

What you get in return

We have only one rule: take your work seriously, everything else should be easy and fun. Ok, that’s basically two rules. Here are some benefits you get by working with us:

Health Coverage

We got you covered if you need medical treatment. Hope you won't need to test it though.

Learning and development

Mito Hackathons, Mito Academy, Mito Brainy, Mito Showcase. There's a lot of events to keep our knowledge fresh - we know, we should invest more time in naming them.

Free fruits and snacks

If an apple a day keeps the doctor away, we wouldn't need the health coverage. Anyway, every now and then, there's some fresh fruit and snacks up for grabs.

9 to 5(ish)

Or 10 to 6. Or whatever. You can manage your time quite flexibly, if you do everything the others need, on time.

Good to know

We work in four business units, all sharing the same DNA, but doing a lot of different and exciting stuff. This job belongs to the following business unit:

Edina Pintér

Edina is searching for minds and souls, loves a good CV and to chat with new people. Go ahead and find out!

How does the hiring process look like?

If everything is cool with your resume, we'll invite you to our office. You’ll meet with one of our colleague from the People Team, who will introduce you to Mito and all the good stuff you will be part of if you decide to join us. She will be with you throughout the entire process and will assist you with anything you might need.
You will have the opportunity to meet with the leader of the department as well.

Also, you will get to ask anything starting from where our dogs nap to what specific tasks we work on for our clients. After getting your answers, we will give you a test work.
We do this with everyone, on every level.

We let you know what we think about your test. No matter the outcome, we’ll let you know what we think and we do this because we think this is fair.

Just like with the feedback, we’ll get back to you with our decision. Hopefully with a big and happy yes!

The only thing we take seriously at Mito. Oh, and personal growth. No matter if you do coding, writing, photoshopping or managing projects, as a company we would like to give you the opportunities to be better at it.

Our offices are in the Central Palace office building, located on Karolyi Utca, in downtown Budapest. A lot of room to come up with really cool stuff and have fun doing it. We occupy 3 large floors with enough sunlight to keep our plants alive.

Four-Legged Colleagues

Four-Legged Colleagues

Having animals - ok, mostly dogs - in the office increases optimism, lowers stress and from time to time enables us to take a break and get some fresh air. So dogs are very welcome here.

Inspiring atmosphere

Work related projects that inspire us are a given. Inspiring each other to flex those creative muscles is a task we gladly take upon ourselves. Like having our GFX wizards compete in designing each year's official T-shirt for the last ten years. Go on, have a look!
