At Mito, we pride ourselves on providing the best possible creative solutions to our clients. Also, it is very important to us that the people we work with aren’t just numbers on a spreadsheet: we love nurturing our relationships and to be there for our teams through thick and thin. We are looking for a Project Manager who helps us tighten these threads with our developer team and also maintains our close relationship with the client.
Frontend. Backend. Mobile competences. Things you will support your fellow devs with. Represent them, too.
Managing exciting short-term development projects. Also long ones.
Validating and passing on clear info from our clients to your colleagues. Then back to our clients.
Be comfortable using JIRA and Confluence, our second best friends next to you when it comes to scheduling, specs and docs.
Finally, you’ll need a steady compatible terminal at hand for our sophisticated toolchains to deploy, quality check and project management tasks.
Your experience in managing web projects in the recent years, and we really mean a master level quality code here, not Wordpress or Joomla.
You can read between the lines, (absolutely no pun intended) when it comes to translating client comments to technical requirements.
You use ticketing (we use JIRA) and you know that a bug report is not just saying “there is something wrong with the API, check it pls”.
Your developer background. Like pressing F12 and not being afraid of debugging a backend issue.
You are okay with CI/CD.
You have seen relational databases and you are eager to dive into one if there is missing info from a report.
Be a team player. Go, team!
We have only one rule: take your work seriously, everything else should be easy and fun. Ok, that’s basically two rules. Here are some benefits you get by working with us:
We got you covered if you need medical treatment - our package even includes emergency services. Hope you won't need to test them though.
Mito Hackathons, Mito Academy, Mito Brainy, Mito Showcase. There's a lot of events to keep our knowledge fresh - we know, we should invest more time in naming them.
If an apple a day keeps the doctor away, we wouldn't need the health coverage. Anyway, every now and then, there's some fresh fruit and snacks up for grabs.
Or 10 to 6. Or whatever. You can manage your time quite flexibly, if you do everything the others need, on time.
Commercials, too, but we put a lot of effort into software development as well. We have some pretty big companies trusting us with serious projects where we use our coding skills, such as:
The dev team at Mito consists of 70 people and counting. Back or front-end, native Android or iOS, testers or tech PMs: we have them all. Being nice and a superb professional are basic traits in our teams. We support each other no matter what and we will have your back as well, whenever you need it.
There are 5 smaller teams within our division with 12ish people in each. You will be part of one of those and your wingmen will be seasoned Tech Leads and tech PM’s.
Our work is broken down based on what resources each task requires, for example concepts will be developed by our creative, UX/UI and GFX teams, however, turning that concept into something useful will be your job (this is why we have those amazing PMs and tech leads!).
We handle tasks in Jira, keep our documentations in Confluence, and use Docker as an environment. Our front-end developers use our Node.js, Gulp and SASS based toolchains. When we deploy for staging and prod, we use Shipit no matter if it runs local or in our GitLab CI runner stack. We try to use and experiment with tools that are not only top notch but also provide our team members with knowledge that could be used anywhere in the world.
Send in your application! Whether its a CV, a repo from your Github account or something you are proud of, it doesn’t matter. We will send you a short questionnaire to fill out (it consists of a few general and tech-related questions) once we receive your application. Based on your answers we will set up a time and date to meet you.
That’s all cool. We’re not building nuclear reactors (although…). As long as you have solid basics and are enthusiastic we will give you all the support you might need to catch up and familiarize yourself with all the tools and technologies we use. We are looking for people who want to learn and grow, after all, Mito is still growing as well. We are not pushing people down the ladder: we push them up and forward and this is something we intend to keep this way. If you are happy and successful, we cannot be more proud.
Most of our engineers take regular trips to the coffee machine, therefore you’ll find your coffee-buddy soon enough.
Since its a full time job, it is nice to see you from time to time but we won’t be tapping our toes at 9.01AM wondering where you were. We would like you to do your best and help you develop quality code but we also know that you have a life outside Mito (what??). If you need to stay at home because your child is sick or the plumbers are coming, you are more than encouraged to take advantage of the perks of working from home or leave early, whichever works best for you.
