Social Media Manager


You love brands. You are social by lifestyle. You are a huge entertainment junkie and the first person in the group to hear about digital trends. You already think Byte is lame and sooo January 2020. You can be fast and furious when it comes to social, but you’re also fine with taking a step back and evaluating performance. Sounds like the guy or girl in the mirror? Excellent! Meet our new Social Media Manager!​

We need you to have...

2-3 years of social management experience. That’s a minimum, but definitely not a maximum.

Being capable of working independently.

An up-to-date or preferably up-to-the-second knowledge of social trends.

Copywriting skills in English and project management experience.

You should be okay with handling clients, and they should be okay with it as well.

Your tasks will be...

Supporting strategic planning assignments in social.

Creating analyses of competitors.

Putting together content roadmaps based on information from planners and coordinated with clients.

Supervising and managing the creation of annual and campaign content calendars.

Coordinating the publication of social calendars with content managers.

Continuous collaboration with creatives and graphic designers in charge of social content, providing support for ideas and brainstorming.

Manage the social aspects of clients’ events, including on-the-spot production when necessary.

Following social trends, novelties, sharing news. That’s what you would be doing anyway, right?

Thorough supervision and management of community managers.

Preparing monthly reports: measurement monitoring, analysis of incoming data, iteration advice, lessons / conclusions / suggestions / anything that ends with “ons”.

Your clients will be…

Continuous management of Wizz Air’s social channels.

Flip, Telekom, OTP, Coca-Cola and MolsonCoors brands will also need your skills from time to time.

And if I make it?

Selecting our new social media manager colleague is like a therapy session: there will be one-on-one or two-on-one counseling to determine your needs and goals, and a group therapy session as well.

We will start with the one-on-one or two-on-one counseling session in which we will invite you to come visit us at Mito’s office. You will have a chance to talk to Orsi, our recruiter and one of our group account directors, Geri and / or Márk. They’ll introduce you to Mito and all the good stuff you will be part of if you decide to proceed onwards. Don’t be shy while introducing yourself: we are extremely interested in who you are and where you come from. Also, you will get to ask anything starting from where our dogs nap to what tasks we work on for our clients.

The second round will be the group therapy phase: you will meet with a bunch of people at the same time who all have the same interest as you (account/social media management), including our group account directors and very likely a bunch of other people who are related to the account team some way or another (or not at all).. During this round (which will last about 2,5 hours) you will be asked to complete a task that will closely resemble something picked out from your everyday account duties. We would like to see how you integrate your mindset into your work and where your strengths lie so we can better determine how we will be able to help you integrate into the team best.

Usually there is no round three: we don’t want you to jump through hoops unnecessarily, we prefer group therapies. :) Just like you needing time to digest everything you have heard and experienced in order to make an informed decision, it is likely that we will need a few days’ time to evaluate and make up our minds and provide you with feedback. Where you take it from there, it is absolutely up to you.
