Wizz Air, Nokia, OTP, Decathlon, Cetelem - just to name a few companies who we work with creating concepts, websites, apps and other complex digital solutions. These clever things make us really proud, while the process itself can even put a smile on our face every single day.

We are currently looking for a plus one for our SEO team within the Performance Business Unit of Mito. If you are a pro in SEO, can tell the difference between 301 and 302 redirects, and even make your mother understand how you would improve Mito’s SEO activity, we have good news: we are looking for you!

Your tasks will be

Leading SEO projects: you guide partners towards maximising their organic performance and make sure that their web pages show up as high as possible on the SERPs. You support both the partners and other SEOs to properly manage the SEO projects.

Strategy: you essentially oversee the execution of the holistic SEO strategy, in regard technical-, on-page and off-page SEO. You play a major role in the definition of the long-term roadmap for the business’s continued SEO growth.

Conducting audits: on-site audits, backlink profile analyses and competitor analyses via the latest methods, including SEO tools. You'll also need to present your findings and recommendations in spoken and written form.

Analyses and reporting: providing both high-level and in-depth information to partners based on reports. Proactively helping our clients with their SEO efforts and supporting them during the process.

Collaboration: it’s a collaborative position, you team up with other SEOs, content teams, site developers, digital analytics-, PPC- and other professionals to be able to dig deeper in partners’ data and provide better insights.

Following news and updates, and helping to keep your (and the team's) knowledge up-to-date on the latest SEO matters.

We need you to have

At least 3 year of experience working with SEO. Agency experience or working on enterprise-level clients is a plus.

Experience in doing site audits and deploying an effective strategy based on business goals.

Familiarity with auditing tools like Ahrefs, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, SEO Powersuite or subsidiaries.

Work experience with a developer team or external developers.

Knowledge of multiple CMS platforms is a plus.

Basics in analytics: you have a GAIQ certificate or maybe you don’t, but you could pass the exam after rolling out of bed. Google Search Console is a must.

Spot-on communication skills: you negotiate and present to your clients and your team in both English and Hungarian.

A consultant’s skill set is also a must have: you are proactive, have a strategic perspective and understand customers’ needs via empathy or telepathy if needed. You can manage clients’ work on a tactical level as well.

We will be made exceptionally happy if...

You have proven success in link building.

You participated in site migration projects.

You understand the synergies between SEO and related fields like PPC, copywriting, PR, etc.

What you get in return

We have only one rule: take your work seriously, everything else should be easy and fun. Ok, that’s basically two rules. Here are some benefits you get by working with us:

Health Coverage

We got you covered if you need medical treatment. Hope you won't need to test it though.

Learning and development

Mito Hackathons, Mito Academy, Mito Brainy, Mito Showcase. There's a lot of events to keep our knowledge fresh - we know, we should invest more time in naming them.

Free fruits and snacks

If an apple a day keeps the doctor away, we wouldn't need the health coverage. Anyway, every now and then, there's some fresh fruit and snacks up for grabs.

9 to 5(ish)

Or 10 to 6. Or whatever. You can manage your time quite flexibly, if you do everything the others need, on time.

Good to know

We work in four business units, all sharing the same DNA, but doing a lot of different and exciting stuff. This job belongs to the following business unit:

How does the hiring process look like?

01

Interview

If everything is cool with your resume, we'll invite you to our office. You’ll meet with one of our colleague from the People Team, who will introduce you to Mito and all the good stuff you will be part of if you decide to join us. She will be with you throughout the entire process and will assist you with anything you might need.
You will have the opportunity to meet with the leader of the department as well.

02

Test

Also, you will get to ask anything starting from where our dogs nap to what specific tasks we work on for our clients. After getting your answers, we will give you a test work.
We do this with everyone, on every level.

03

Feedback

We let you know what we think about your test. No matter the outcome, we’ll let you know what we think and we do this because we think this is fair.

04

Decision

Just like with the feedback, we’ll get back to you with our decision. Hopefully with a big and happy yes!

The only thing we take seriously at Mito. Oh, and personal growth. No matter if you do coding, writing, photoshopping or managing projects, as a company we would like to give you the opportunities to be better at it.

Environment

Environment

Our offices are in the Central Palace office building, located on Karolyi Utca, in downtown Budapest. A lot of room to come up with really cool stuff and have fun doing it. We occupy 3 large floors with enough sunlight to keep our plants alive.

Four-Legged Colleagues

Four-Legged Colleagues

Having animals - ok, mostly dogs - in the office increases optimism, lowers stress and from time to time enables us to take a break and get some fresh air. So dogs are very welcome here.

Inspiring atmosphere

People

Work related projects that inspire us are a given. Inspiring each other to flex those creative muscles is a task we gladly take upon ourselves. Like having our GFX wizards compete in designing each year's official T-shirt for the last ten years. Go on, have a look!
