Here at Mito, we love creating clever things: apps, websites and other complex, digital solutions for customers such as Wizz Air, OTP, Scientific Games and many others. We are super proud of the things we put together and have fun while doing it. We have a 50 people strong developer team, working in different units on different domains like lottery, aviation, or various digital campaign assets (like Telekom’s web app for music festivals, or a custom alarm clock app for Olympic athletes). We are currently on the lookout for a Scrum Master who helps us tighten threads with our development teams, helps them build even better products, and also maintains our close relationship with the client. 

Your tasks will be...

Coach team members on the agile manifesto, principles and techniques, guide them to keep agreed organizational methods, continuously support the team to develop best practices to improve the way of working, foster a great community

Facilitate agreed team events, including (where applicable) daily stand-ups, sprint planning or reviews. Prepare teams for program planning, take actions based on retrospective learnings.

Identify problems, impediments, dependencies or other dysfunctions of the team, and facilitate their quick resolution, reach out to the wider company if needed. So basically, help them become even better problem solvers than yourself.

Help the agile team with pre-planning developments, and protect them from the uncontrolled expansion of work, or unexpected scope changes. You know, when you turn around for a second, and the SOW doubles.

Maintain and develop relevant metrics to provide organizational visibility and help the teams see how well they are performing. Seeing well and being visible is crucial at an airline, you know.

Track that the teams are progressing towards team and program increment objectives, and take appropriate actions if needed.

Increase agile maturity and support the creation of an agile culture.

We need you to have...

Previous working experience (2+ years) in a Scrum Master role, preferably in a scaled agile organization

Knowledge of scrum/agile methodology, values & principles

Familiarity with basic development expressions

Good communication & facilitation skills

Proficient English, comfortable speaking with internationals

Agile mindset, being able to lead the change within the teams

We will be made exceptionally happy if you’re...

Experienced with Azure DevOps / TFS 

Passionate about the use of digital technologies including the development of technology solutions

Interview

If everything is cool with your resume, we'll invite you to our office. You’ll meet with one of our colleague from the People Team, who will introduce you to Mito and all the good stuff you will be part of if you decide to join us. She will be with you throughout the entire process and will assist you with anything you might need.
You will have the opportunity to meet with the leader of the department as well.

Test

Also, you will get to ask anything starting from where our dogs nap to what specific tasks we work on for our clients. After getting your answers, we will give you a test work.
We do this with everyone, on every level.

Feedback

We let you know what we think about your test. No matter the outcome, we’ll let you know what we think and we do this because we think this is fair.

Our offices are in the Central Palace office building, located on Karolyi Utca, in downtown Budapest. A lot of room to come up with really cool stuff and have fun doing it. We occupy 3 large floors with enough sunlight to keep our plants alive.
