You’ve probably heard of us being in love with clever things. But have you heard that we have a fantastic international brand whose global strategic media planning and buying we’re responsible for? Probably not, but don’t worry, you can still join us as a Media Director within the Performance Business Unit, if you like what you see below.
Manage and lead the media projects of a big (we mean really extremely super large, inspiring and well-known), multinational client.
Build and maintain an excellent relationship with the client team. For that, you will probably need to be fantastic in account management and fabulous in communications planning.
Actively participate in the development of client contact strategies and proactively seek opportunities to present new ideas, approaches, communication solutions and multi-brand partnerships. Represent Mito’s diversified services confidently and effectively (and proudly, of course).
Draft and manage Client Development Plans to maintain clear and consistent communication flows between the client and your team.
Provide consistency of approach, prioritization and delivery across the client’s campaign plans to deliver a truly optimized portfolio.
Manage budgets. Lead monthly / quarterly reviews. Control media strategy, planning and booking processes.
And once you’re done with all this, we would also like you to manage and develop the media team: lead and mentor a team of 4-5 people, including resource management and division strategy.
At least 4-5 years of work experience at a media agency.
Exposure to all media channels, but specifically a strong working knowledge of paid digital media.
Experience working with multinational clients.
High level of ownership and responsibility.
A consultant’s skill set is a must: you are proactive, have the strategic perspective and understand clients’ needs via empathy, telepathy, or whatever you use as long as it works.
You negotiate and present like a pro both in English and Hungarian.
We will be downright stoked if you have proficiency with people management.
We have only one rule: take your work seriously, everything else should be easy and fun. Ok, that’s basically two rules. Here are some benefits you get by working with us:
We got you covered if you need medical treatment - our package even includes emergency services. Hope you won't need to test them though.
Mito Hackathons, Mito Academy, Mito Brainy, Mito Showcase. There's a lot of events to keep our knowledge fresh - we know, we should invest more time in naming them.
If an apple a day keeps the doctor away, we wouldn't need the health coverage. Anyway, every now and then, there's some fresh fruit and snacks up for grabs.
Or 10 to 6. Or whatever. You can manage your time quite flexibly, if you do everything the others need, on time.
Media is like a love story: there is the warming up, the sharing and discovering mutual interests, and the Big Question at the end.
We will start with a lovely cup of tea or coffee at Mito’s office: you will have a chance to talk to Orsi, our recruiter, and one of our team leads in the Performance Business Unit, depending on which path you are applying for. Don’t be shy while introducing yourself: we are extremely interested in who you are and where you come from.
Once we all believe that there are definitely feelings we cannot explain, we will ask you to complete a simple homework depending on your background skills (obviously we won’t give you a SEO related task if your lifetime dream is to be a PPC pro…). We would like to see what you know and where your strengths lie so we can better determine how we will be able to help you integrate into the team best. We want to make sure that this won’t be “just another interview session” but rather a learning experience for both sides. We appreciate that you are giving us your best therefore the least we can do is to give you thorough feedback on your homework and performance, no matter if it is good or less-good.
If everything is still all pink and gooey with sunshine and unicorns, you will meet for a quick chemistry check with Zita who is leading the entire Performance division at Mito. Once you talk to each other, you will know if she is the one (she definitely is!). Since we don’t like to overcomplicate things, it is possible that we might pop The Question (an offer) right then and there but don’t feel pressured! Take all the time you need to make a decision: we are here to support you with anything you might want to ask.
