Here at Mito we love creating clever things: apps, websites and other complex digital solutions for telcos, lottery companies and aviation brands all over the world. Our lottery & betting development team of 15 wants to get lucky: they’re looking for a new Frontend Developer to join their ranks. If you are a pro in component-based JS development and would love to work on huge websites for Hungarian and international lottery companies, then we should definitely talk.
Implementing business logics, developing modules or distinct frontend applications
Building and coding key frontend components of large scale web applications, single-page apps and websites of different sizes
Discussing technical solutions with other developers (yes, that can definitely be done on a couch playing FIFA - once we’re back in the office)
Developing API based web applications in various ways
Stable JavaScript knowledge (preferably ES6) and confidence with HTML and CSS
When you hear "framework", you shouldn’t just think of jQuery - whatever else pops to your mind, we’d love to hear about it. We like Vue.js a lot, but if you ride any modern JavaScript framework, even better.
Unit tests? We know you know what we’re talking about.
We will need your expertise in REST APIs.
A sharp eye: we receive pixel perfect graphic designs from our internal UI team and they will reward you with a lot of love (sometimes beers), if you build their designs perfectly.
Hands-on knowledge with Docker, CI/CD, Nuxt.js, Cypress or any JavaScript testing frameworks is a big plus
We have only one rule: take your work seriously, everything else should be easy and fun. Ok, that’s basically two rules. Here are some benefits you get by working with us:
We got you covered if you need medical treatment. Hope you won't need to test it though.
Mito Hackathons, Mito Academy, Mito Brainy, Mito Showcase. There's a lot of events to keep our knowledge fresh - we know, we should invest more time in naming them.
If an apple a day keeps the doctor away, we wouldn't need the health coverage. Anyway, every now and then, there's some fresh fruit and snacks up for grabs.
Or 10 to 6. Or whatever. You can manage your time quite flexibly, if you do everything the others need, on time.
We work in four business units, all sharing the same DNA, but doing a lot of different and exciting stuff. This job belongs to the following business unit:

01
Interview
If everything is cool with your resume, we'll invite you to our office. You’ll meet with one of our colleague from the People Team, who will introduce you to Mito and all the good stuff you will be part of if you decide to join us. She will be with you throughout the entire process and will assist you with anything you might need.
You will have the opportunity to meet with the leader of the department as well.
02
Test
Also, you will get to ask anything starting from where our dogs nap to what specific tasks we work on for our clients. After getting your answers, we will give you a test work.
We do this with everyone, on every level.
03
Feedback
We let you know what we think about your test. No matter the outcome, we’ll let you know what we think and we do this because we think this is fair.
04
Decision
Just like with the feedback, we’ll get back to you with our decision. Hopefully with a big and happy yes!
People
The only thing we take seriously at Mito. Oh, and personal growth. No matter if you do coding, writing, photoshopping or managing projects, as a company we would like to give you the opportunities to be better at it.
Environment
Our offices are in the Central Palace office building, located on Karolyi Utca, in downtown Budapest. A lot of room to come up with really cool stuff and have fun doing it. We occupy 3 large floors with enough sunlight to keep our plants alive.
Four-Legged Colleagues
Having animals - ok, mostly dogs - in the office increases optimism, lowers stress and from time to time enables us to take a break and get some fresh air. So dogs are very welcome here.
Inspiring atmosphere
Work related projects that inspire us are a given. Inspiring each other to flex those creative muscles is a task we gladly take upon ourselves. Like having our GFX wizards compete in designing each year's official T-shirt for the last ten years. Go on, have a look!
